(Intentional Prayer)

Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

Lord, as I come to You today with a spirit of thanksgiving, realizing the tremendous gifts that you have given to me, I want to take this opportunity to thank you that I am a part of the everyone, from the least to the greatest, who has the opportunity to know you for myself. Through the power of the resurrected Savior, Jesus Christ, I can boldly come to you. I can bring all of my issues, desires, wants, needs, and questions to You.

God, I realize that without You, I could do nothing. It is not of my own strength or intellect that I am able to move about in this world. God, I know you and understand that you are the Lord who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and you, oh Lord, delight in these things. Thank You Lord for always looking out for me and for ordering and directing my steps. In those times that I wanted to go my own way, thank You God for your unfailing love that intersected my will and brought me back to Your will.

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing.

Not my way but Yours, mighty God.

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

Thank You Lord for Opening My Eyes to Know You!

This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.
