(Intentional Prayer)

Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

Lord, I would like to take this moment to first give thanks to You for You alone are the great and mighty God. I want the whole world to know what You have done. You have prepared a way for me to walk worthy in Your sight. Even when I falter and fail, You are always with me to lead and guide me and direct my steps. I am able to proceed forward with a forgiven spirit and a determination in my heart to be more like You. You strengthen me each and every day. When I am weak, You alone make me strong.

I will sing to You; yes, I will sing Your praises. I will tell everyone about Your wonderful deeds.

Lord, as I begin yet another day, I will continue to search for You Lord; for Your strength. I want to find myself continually seeking You. Without You, Lord, I don’t know where I would be. Knowing that Your peace surrounds me helps me to recall Your faithfulness in the details of my life.

God, You saved me by Your grace when I believed. I can’t take any credit for this because it is a gift from You. Nothing I could ever do on my own could have saved me; no good thing. For I am Your masterpiece. I have been created anew in Christ Jesus. Lord, thank You for this undeserved gift. My sins had counted me out, but Your forgiving power has made me righteous in You and cleared a path to eternal life. You have given me the power and all the tools necessary to do the good things You planned for me when you created me in Your image.

Lord, You never said that things would be easy, but You said that You would always be with me through it all. Lord, I know that everything that comes my way is being used for good and that all that has happened is so I would follow Your decrees and obey Your instructions. Praise the Lord!

Thank You Lord for your love and mercy and Your unending pursuit of me. There’s nobody greater!

This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.

Psalm 105:1-4 (NLT)
Give thanks to the Lord and proclaim his greatness.
    Let the whole world know what he has done.
Sing to him; yes, sing his praises.
    Tell everyone about his wonderful deeds.
Exult in his holy name;
    rejoice, you who worship the Lord.
Search for the Lord and for his strength;
    continually seek him.

Ephesians 2:8-10 (NLT)
God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. 10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.

Psalm 105:45 (NLT)
All this happened so they would follow his decrees
    and obey his instructions.
Praise the Lord!
