(Intentional Prayer)

Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

El Roi, the God who sees me, as I sit here reflecting on Your loving kindness, I begin to give thanks. O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help. When I come to You God, You are always waiting with open arms to forgive. Even when I fall short of Your commands and try to go my own way and create my own blueprint for life, Your unfailing love makes it so that I am always welcome back to You.

Lord, just as David, when I’m in a desperate situation, I can remember that I too can fall into the hands of the Lord, for Your mercy is great. Do not let me fall into human hands. For You are a just God who disciplines Your children with love and does not give me all that I deserve. Thank You for loving me beyond measure and for resurrecting my sin sick soul through the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

No matter what comes to interrupt the flow of my life, God, no human wisdom or understanding or plan can stand against You, Lord. Once You have said it, God, that settles it, and I believe it. There is none greater or mightier than thee. Your plans for my life cannot be thwarted by Satan. All that comes into my life, You have either ordained or allowed, in Your great wisdom, as part of my steps to Overwhelming Victory.

The Lord is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation. God, You are no respecter of person. Your love is available to all who choose to receive it. You are Elohim, God, Mighty Creator. You chose us, now it’s our choice to choose You.

God, You have proven that You are the solution to our desperate situations! Help us to turn to You.

This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.

They have no authority over me, but I have authority through Jesus Christ. I am free. I am delivered. I am made whole. When I feel lost or confused, I will turn to Your Word and gain strength, knowledge and understanding. I will seek deliverance because it is for those who ask and want it […]

(Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, when I am left with lingering emotions of irritation and disappointment because of how another person chose to interact with me, help me to aim high, looking to Jesus as my example when someone has offended me. Help me to recognize when the intent is not to cause these feelings to emerge within, but that a greater purpose and good is the end result.
