(Intentional Prayer)

Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

No matter what comes along my path, God, I can turn to You and pour out my heart and let You know that I am in need of Your great strength. You are always available and always willing to guide me through. For, You, O Lord, never grow weak or weary. You understand all that I encounter. Nothing is new to You, Elohim, God, Mighty Creator.

You are everlasting God, the source of the strength that I need.

Because I trust in You, Lord, I will find new strength. It’s in my weakness, God, that Your strength is revealed. It becomes clearer to me how I am truly making it through, by Your grace and mercy.

You don’t have to do it, God, but You do, because You have chosen me as Your own.

In the good times, as well as in those times when I am tested or my heart is in distress, You give me renewed strength, day in and day out. You, O Lord, make it so that I can soar in this life high on wings like eagles. I do not have to stay in my low places, for You, lift me up.

I will walk. I will not faint. You are my helper and my shield.

Lord, assist me in never forgetting Your great love for me, which was shown towards me in sending Your Son to take my place on the cross. Because I come to You through Him, Jesus Christ, I am saved. I have been set free from a life of sin and shame. I can hold my head up high in victory proclaiming who You have been, who You are daily being to me, and who You will always be. You are my lifeline, my comforter, my peace. When I cry out to You in prayer, Your Son Jesus intercedes on my behalf. I don’t have to do anything but turn to You with a repentant heart and a mind to do Your will.

No matter who tries to harm me or speak adversely against me, God, You are faithful and good. For the times when I have turned to You, for Your glory, You have rescued me.

Thank You for Your great and unconditional love towards me.

Continue to direct my steps so that I may please You, and no matter what, God, I will trust and serve You.

This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.

I capture my rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. Any negative thoughts or thoughts that are not pleasing to You, O Lord, I cast them out in Jesus’ name. They have no authority over me, but I have authority through Jesus Christ. I am free. I am delivered. I am made whole. • Aim High
(Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, when I am left with lingering emotions of irritation and disappointment because of how another person chose to interact with me, help me to aim high, looking to Jesus as my example when someone has offended me. Help me to recognize when the intent is not to cause these feelings to emerge within, but that a greater purpose and good is the end result.
