(Intentional Prayer)

Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it.

Thank You Lord for a new day to give You praise and to magnify Your name. You are a mighty and awesome King; ruler of all the earth. El Shaddai, You are God Almighty who reigns forever. I will shout with joy to You Lord. I will worship You with gladness. I will come before You singing with joy. For You are good and Your unfailing love and faithfulness endureth forever.

Lord, I feel the change in my atmosphere. I feel a shift and a mighty move over my life. Those dark places are being lit by Your unwavering love for me. I have something to rejoice and to be glad about. I am never lacking anything from You, Yahweh Yireh, the Lord will Provide.

I give thanks to You, O Lord, and I praise Your name.

In your presence, Elohim, God, Mighty Creator, the dark clouds must move. The rain drops from the turbulent storms will cease. You are the comforter of my soul and my powerful deliverer.

Yahweh Shalom, The Lord is Peace, Your peace brings tranquility into the disruptions of my life. For Your dear Son, before His departure from this earth, promised to leave a gift of peace of mind and heart. The world cannot give it. Improve my ability to cease from searching for peace outside of You. For You are that perfect peace

Yahweh Rophe, The Lord Who Heals, I pray that You bring healing to every place where rest has been deprived. I know that I can look to You for all my needs. I realize that I have no reason to be troubled or afraid. Lord, I take refuge in the One with whom I may rejoice.

I will sing joyful praises forever.

El Roi, the God who Sees Me, You made me and know all about me and all that I need. Spread your protection over me, Your servant who loves Your name, so that I may be filled with joy.

I command my soul to rejoice and be glad, this day and forever more!

This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.

Help me to recognize when the intent is not to cause these feelings to emerge within, but that a greater purpose and good is the end result.
