From Brokenness to Someone God Can Use

Can you truly still be in the midst of a storm and watch as God lifts you above the clouds, where you only see Him?

I am a living witness that Yes, you can. That problem, that situation, has not vanished, but your view of God, Elohim, Mighty Creator, has changed. You can now see things from a different perspective, God’s view point. You are inherently aware of His intentions for your life. Biblical application is happening before your very eyes. When you look around, you can see the presence of Yahweh Shalom, The Lord is Peace, over everything that originally had you feeling in captivity; feeling oppressed, living through experiences as though there was no way out.

If you are not quite there, just yet, keep going. God is right by your side. Keep learning the lessons that God has presented or allowed to increase your faith in Him. Put all of your hope in the salvation of our God through Jesus Christ. Live as God’s obedient child. Don’t allow distractions to cause you to turn back. You have come too far to give up now. Your personal Promised Land is waiting in the direction of God. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. Now that you know Him, you have a truth to hold on to and reflect upon, as you rely on Him to navigate you the rest of the way through.

God is holy; therefore, you be holy. If you let Him, He will teach you His ways.

1 Peter 1:13-16 (NLT) says,
13 So prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Put all your hope in the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world. 14 So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. 15 But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. 16 For the Scriptures say, “You must be holy because I am holy.”

When it looks as though others are being blessed and prospering, and your dreams and desires are not being fulfilled or met, you can trust in your heavenly Father to whom you pray. He has no favorites. When things become almost unbearable, remember that you are only a temporary resident here.

You see, this is not our home, nor our final destination.

1 Peter 1:17-20 (NLT) says,
17 And remember that the heavenly Father to whom you pray has no favorites. He will judge or reward you according to what you do. So you must live in reverent fear of him during your time here as “temporary residents.” 18 For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. 19 It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. 20 God chose him as your ransom long before the world began, but now in these last days he has been revealed for your sake.

Don’t allow the attacks of Satan, nor his trickery to deceive you into not continuing your progression towards the prize that awaits you when Jesus returns. We already have the Victory through Him. Keep remembering that each day, God gives us new mercies for that day and He alone strengthens us to keep moving through the process of sanctification and right relationship with Him.

Trust God!

Make sure that your faith and hope is in Him because He raised Christ from the dead and gave Him great glory. Because of His great sacrifice, we have been afforded the opportunity to be cleansed from our sins when we obey the truth. Those who have not accepted Him as their Lord and Savior, in spite of everything, still have a chance to open their hearts and give their wills to Him, for the Salvation of their souls. He is a life changer and a deliverer from all that Satan has presented as traps to kill, steal, and destroy. Let us love each other and care about sharing what God has done for us, so that others may receive this miraculous gift, the gift of eternal life.

1 Peter 1:21-23 (NLT) says,
21 Through Christ you have come to trust in God. And you have placed your faith and hope in God because he raised Christ from the dead and gave him great glory.
22 You were cleansed from your sins when you obeyed the truth, so now you must show sincere love to each other as brothers and sisters. Love each other deeply with all your heart.
23 For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.

Follow the plan and watch God move you from brokenness to a place where He can use you.

Don’t hit reverse. Let God keep shifting you into the right direction.
