(Intentional Prayer)

Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

Lord, Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is Yours, O Lord, and this is Your kingdom. I adore You as the one who is over all things. Nothing is outside of Your control, O God, and You know what is best for me.

Absolutely nothing happens in my life that You are not privy to. Your desire is that I converse with You and pour out my heart, as a child seeking reassurance from a loving parent. You give the gift of your love and compassion towards me.

You have more good gifts that You desire to pass along to me.

As I follow You, Yahweh Roi, the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything that I need. When my emotions attempt to get the best of me and they fluctuate over the array of possibilities, Your rod and staff they protect and comfort me. I have been given the gift of coming to You in prayer, bringing my heart and placing all of my cares at Your throne of grace.

When I attempt to trust in my own strength, You tenderly remind me that it is You who renews my strength. Because You love me, You guide me along right paths. I only need to place my confidence in You.

I will not allow anyone to mislead me. I will not forget that You, Yahweh Roi, make happen the good that I experience each day; from opening my eyes at morning’s break, to each breath that I proceed to take. Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to me from You, my Father, Elohim, God, Mighty Creator, who created all the lights in the heavens. You never change.

I am your prized possession, Your child, chosen by You.

Your dear Son promised that If I remain in Him and His Words remain in me, I may ask for anything I want, and it will be granted.

Oh, what a phenomenal gift!

Lord, this day I ask for renewed strength and peace of mind to continue the process. I don’t want to look back, but forward to the good gifts that You have prepared for me. I know that when I am obedient to Your call and Your will for me, that when I produce much fruit, I am a true disciple of Christ. This brings great glory to You.

In those times where I miss the mark, Lord, You know the depths of my heart. God, You are able to take the little bit that I have to offer and use it to bring great glory that You are due.

Let all that I say and do be in accordance to Your way.

As I obey Your commandments, I know that I remain in the love of Christ, just as when Christ obeyed Your commandments, He remained in Your love. His righteousness is counted as my righteousness. Therefore, I have been given the gift and the right to come boldly to the throne of my gracious God. There I will receive Your mercy, and I will find grace and help when I need it most.

Today, Lord, let Your grace and mercy shower over my life. When I am unsure of the next steps to take, Lord, order them and help me to follow Your lead. Give peace and comfort in times of need. Remove all doubt and fear.

Thank You Mighty King for the gift of salvation and Your absolute promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. My love for You will never cease because of Your steadfast love for me.

You give good gifts to those who love and choose you!

This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.

James 1:16-18 (NLT)
16 So don’t be misled, my dear brothers and sisters. 17 Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow. 18 He chose to give birth to us by giving us his true word. And we, out of all creation, became his prized possession.

John 15:7-11 (NLT)
7 But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! 8 When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father. 9 “I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. 10 When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. 11 I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow!

  1. I know. Weird, right? Commenting on my own blog post. Lol But I had to share today’s verse of the day that just popped up on my phone.

“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.”
    John 14:27 NLT

Today, my friend, don’t be troubled or afraid. Have a great day!
