(Intentional Prayer)

Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

Intermittent Audio Prayer Break:

(Available When God Says So – Listen and Pray Along)

Lord, when I deserve nothing You give me everything.

You have called me by name; I am Yours. When I go through deep waters, You will be with me. When I go through rivers of difficulty, I will not drown. When I walk through the fire of oppression, I will not be burned up; the flames will not consume me. No matter what it may feel like, if I keep my focus on You, I can make it through any obstacle that comes my way.

I will look ahead!

For You are about to do something new. See, You have already begun! I must see it through spiritual eyes. You will make a pathway through the wilderness. You will create rivers in the dry wasteland.

As Satan attempts to cause me to look through the magnifying glass over my past life, help me to look ahead and turn my focus towards You. When I look to You versus my problems, Your Glory is revealed. The things that I face are yet visible, but the remedy for them all becomes crystal clear in my view. I need not trust in what I see, but in You Almighty God who holds the key to my Overwhelming  Victory.

You—yes, You alone—will blot out my sins for Your own sake and will never think of them again. My job is to “Praise the Lord! For You, O Lord my God, the Almighty, reigns.”

When distractions come, I must look to the One who brings deliverance from all that Satan tries to bring against me. I know, O Lord, that I can come to You with all that I struggle with. You already know all about it and desire that I put my trust in You. You do not count it against me, but welcome my cry for help. For You, my mighty King, are a deliverer. Yes, and You Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into Your heavenly Kingdom. All glory to You, God, forever and ever! Amen.

Thank You Lord, this very day, this very hour, for deliverance!

For You Lord are the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. I thank You for freedom to come to You with my cares and for the joy of knowing that You, with precision and mindfulness of what I personally need, look after me. When I am weak, I am able to draw from the richness of Your glory and my strength is renewed. Life is life, and not always easy, but You provide a place of healing when I make You my focal point.

Forgive me if I have caused any to stray or for the times when my words have not uplifted You. Let my conversation be gracious and attractive so that I will have the right response for everyone.

Let everything that I do be to help another along this journey and to glorify You.

In those moments where I don’t absolutely get it right, let Your light shine beyond what someone may see in me. For Jesus said, “I am the light of the world. If you follow me, you won’t have to walk in darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life.”

This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.
