(Intentional Prayer)

Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

Lord, I humbly come before Your presence fully aware that anything within me that is not of You must be abandoned. As I seek Your face, create in me a pure heart, O God. Renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and grant me a willing spirit to sustain me.

My walk shall be a walk of obedience to You.

Lord, as I wrestle through feelings of fear that comes to distract me from my purpose and destiny, I humble myself under Your mighty power, and at the right time You, O Lord, will lift me up in honor. Place within me, my righteous king, a willingness and determination to give all my worries and cares to You, for You, my God cares about me. I settle within my soul to stay alert and watch out for my great enemy, the devil. For, it is he who prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. He is the source of my fear.

This day, God, I make that choice to stand firm against him, and to be strong in my faith. I will remember that my family of believers all over the world is going through the same kind of suffering as I am. Help me to look beyond myself and my struggles and know that I am not alone. I have You, O Lord, and other faithful followers of Christ crying out on my behalf.

As I intercede for another, I consent to not be selfish, O God, but to situate within my heart, an urgency to support through prayer. Let not my cry be only for the loss and despondent, but for those who have already placed their faith and trust in You. My clear and confident prayer is that none would perish and all would receive the richness of Your glory in their day-to-day lives, for You have given Your assurance of this.

In Your kindness God, You called me to share in Your eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after I have suffered a little while, You will restore, support, and strengthen me, and You will place me on a firm foundation.

All power to You forever! Amen.

When I am afraid, I will put my trust in You. For I praise You God for what You have promised me. My trust is in You, so why should I be afraid?

In those areas of my life where I have allowed fear to settle in to stay, I, this day, evict fear. There are no vacancies because it has no place here!

This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.
