Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

Lord, Your Word tells me that for everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to cry and a time to laugh. A time to grieve and a time to dance.

Lord, as I come to You today with a heart to reach out to others, provide me with memorable opportunities to encourage another and to build them up. Allow me a time of separation from the cares of this life, in order to enjoy a flash of laughter that provides healing and strength for my soul.

God, Your Word says that a cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength. Lord, I ask You to bring forth laughter, even in the midst of a rampant sea, so that my strength may remain on full.

God bless me when I weep, for in due time, Your Word promises that I will laugh.

But let all who take refuge in You rejoice; let them sing joyful praises forever. Spread your protection over them, that all who love Your name may be filled with joy.

Thank You for the medicine for my soul!

Ha! Ha! Ha! Satan does not win. For God will once again fill my mouth with laughter and my lips with shouts of joy.

Oh how my spirit rejoices in God my Savior! In You my heart does rejoice, for I trust in Your holy name. Let Your unfailing love surround me, Lord, for my hope is in You alone.

In laughter, I find You. Lord, thank You for this gift that heals me.

This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.

(Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, I come to you today as a reminder to myself that I have authority through Jesus Christ. I use Your mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. I destroy every proud obstacle that keeps me from knowing You. I capture my rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. Any negative thoughts or thoughts that are not pleasing to You, O Lord, I cast them out in Jesus’ name. They have no authority over me, but I have authority through Jesus Christ. I am free. I am delivered. I am made whole. When I feel lost or confused, I will turn to Your Word and gain strength, knowledge and understanding. I will seek deliverance because it is for those who ask and want it […]

  • The One – Higher Than All the Heavens

Honor my steps to be patient with others, making allowance for other’s faults because of my love, this Godly love that you have demonstrated towards me. • Aim High
(Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, when I am left with lingering emotions of irritation and disappointment because of how another person chose to interact with me, help me to aim high, looking to Jesus as my example when someone has offended me. Lord, I want to do all that I can to live in peace with everyone. Help me to recognize when the intent is not to cause these feelings to emerge within, but that a greater purpose and good is the end result.
