(Intentional Prayer)

Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

Lord, I give You this day to do within it and within me whatever You please. Anything that resides within my heart that hinders Your presence from seamlessly flowing through, I ask You to remove it, in Jesus’ name. Wash me, O Lord. Purify me from my sins, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Oh, give me back my joy again; you have broken me—now let me rejoice.

From that which Satan has meant for evil; God, You are bringing good. Lord, let me be found rejoicing in Your goodness; for You are doing great things!

Teach me Your ways, O Lord, that I may live according to Your truth! Grant me purity of heart, so that I may honor You. With all my heart I will praise You, O Lord my God. I will give glory to Your name forever, for Your love for me is very great. You have rescued me from the depths of death.

You have given me life!

You alone are the Lord. You made the skies and the heavens and all the stars. You made the earth and the seas and everything in them. You preserve them all, and the angels of heaven worship You. Your Word has given life to everything that was created, and Your life brought light to everyone. For the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.

Your light shines through!

Lord, I give You my everything; my heart, my thoughts, my will, and my desires. As I long to align it all with Your purpose and plan for me, continue to renew my mind and mold me into Your likeness, so that this day and the days ahead will be what You have planned for me.

Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! Lord, I am giving my first moments to You!

This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.

I use Your mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. I destroy every proud obstacle that keeps me from knowing You. I capture my rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. Any negative thoughts or thoughts that are not pleasing to You, O Lord, I cast them out in Jesus’ name. They have no authority over me, but I have authority through Jesus Christ. I am free. I am delivered. I am made whole. • Aim High
(Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, when I am left with lingering emotions of irritation and disappointment because of how another person chose to interact with me, help me to aim high, looking to Jesus as my example when someone has offended me. Help me to recognize when the intent is not to cause these feelings to emerge within, but that a greater purpose and good is the end result.
