Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the tests and trials. Thank You for the one-on-one time that they have enabled me to spend with You. Thank You for Your strength in times of great need.
As You continue to pour into my life so that I may be a blessing to others, help me to hear Your voice and it, alone, so that when You speak, I will, without hesitation, continue to step out on faith. I want to continue to climb this ladder from the pit that Satan orchestrated for me, to MY OVERWHELMING VICTORY!
As You have called Abram, You have also called me to do Your will, to go to the land that You will show me. You have a purpose and a plan for my life to bless me so that I will be a blessing to others. Help me to follow Your instructions, to go where You say go, and to do what You will have for me to do.
Lord, I’m ready to come out of the dungeon and walk in the presence of Your marvelous light.
Let every obstacle that comes against me be cancelled at the sound of Your great name. For You Lord are king! Let the nations tremble! Let them praise your great and awesome name. Your name is holy! Mighty King, lover of justice, you have established fairness. You have acted with justice and righteousness. I will exalt You Lord my God! I will bow low before Your feet, for You are holy!
All I want is You, because what do I benefit if I gain the whole world but lose my own soul? Nothing!
Lord, I don’t want to be selfish; I don’t want to try to impress others. Teach me how to be humble, thinking of others as better than myself. Help me not to look out only for my own interests, but to take an interest in others, too. I desire, my gracious Father, to have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had. Though he was God, he did not think of equality with God as something to cling to. Instead, he gave up his divine privileges; he took the humble position of a slave and was born as a human being. When he appeared in human form, he humbled himself in obedience to God and died a criminal’s death on a cross. Therefore, You, O God elevated him to the place of highest honor and gave him the name above all other names, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue declares that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of You, God the Father.
When fear attempts to settle within my heart, bring to my remembrance all that Christ has done. I will reflect on how He walked in obedience and took on my sorrow and my pain. Nothing that I have endured even comes close. I rejoice and step forward to take leaps of faith toward You. Let Your will and greater purpose be accomplished through my life, because God, all I want is You!
However You choose to work in my life, I will be satisfied!
This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.

Genesis 12:1-4 (NLT)
The Call of Abram
1 The Lord had said to Abram, “Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father’s family, and go to the land that I will show you. 2 I will make you into a great nation. I will bless you and make you famous, and you will be a blessing to others. 3 I will bless those who bless you and curse those who treat you with contempt. All the families on earth will be blessed through you.”
4 So Abram departed as the Lord had instructed, and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he left Haran.
Psalms 99:1-5 (NLT)
1 The Lord is king!
Let the nations tremble!
He sits on his throne between the cherubim.
Let the whole earth quake!
2 The Lord sits in majesty in Jerusalem,
exalted above all the nations.
3 Let them praise your great and awesome name.
Your name is holy!
4 Mighty King, lover of justice,
you have established fairness.
You have acted with justice
and righteousness throughout Israel.
5 Exalt the Lord our God!
Bow low before his feet, for he is holy!
Mark 8:36 (NLT)
36 And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul?
Philippians 2:3-11 (NLT)
3 Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4 Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.
5 You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.
6 Though he was God,
he did not think of equality with God
as something to cling to.
7 Instead, he gave up his divine privileges;
he took the humble position of a slave
and was born as a human being.
When he appeared in human form,
8 he humbled himself in obedience to God
and died a criminal’s death on a cross.
9 Therefore, God elevated him to the place of highest honor
and gave him the name above all other names,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11 and every tongue declare that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.
