(Intentional Prayer)

Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

Lord, I come to You this day with remembrance of the things You have done in the past. There is no other who could have sustained me and provided me with all that I needed. When I open the door of my heart, You show me through Your actions toward me that there is no other like You.

You know me better than I know myself; therefore, all that comes from You is always exactly what is essential for me, even when I cannot understand it all. For You alone are God! You ARE God, and there is none like You. Only You can tell me the future before it even happens. Everything You plan will come to pass, for You do whatever You wish. You have everything under control. I can put my heart into Your hands and trust that it will be safe and secure.

There is no other in heaven or on earth that can stand up next to You.

I look up to the mountains—does my help come from there? No! My help comes from You, O Lord, who made heaven and earth! You will not let me stumble; my great God who watches over me will not slumber. Indeed, You who watches over Israel never slumbers or sleeps.

You watch over me!

Thank You Lord for standing beside me as my protective shade. You have never failed to shelter me from danger seen and unseen. Throughout my days filled with pain, You were and are always covering me. The sun will not harm me by day, nor the moon at night. You keep me from all harm and watch over my life. You keep watch over me as I come and go, both now and forever.

There literally is no other who cares for me as much. Your love shines through the gloomiest of conditions and it brings warmth to my heart and joy to my soul. No one is holy like You Lord! There is no one besides You; there is no Rock like my God.

There is no other!

This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.

I use Your mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. I destroy every proud obstacle that keeps me from knowing You. I capture my rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. Any negative thoughts or thoughts that are not pleasing to You, O Lord, I cast them out in Jesus’ name. They have no authority over me, but I have authority through Jesus Christ. I am free. I am delivered. I am made whole. (Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, when I am left with lingering emotions of irritation and disappointment because of how another person chose to interact with me, help me to aim high, looking to Jesus as my example when someone has offended me. Help me to recognize when the intent is not to cause these feelings to emerge within, but that a greater purpose and good is the end result.
