(Intentional Prayer)

Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

Lord, as I am reminded that in Your Word is found the truth that I seek, I can remain steadfast in my faith and allow the power of Your Word to bridge the gap between possibility and reality; between my doubts and fears, and Your promises and faithfulness.

Lord, I desire that you interrupt the mission of any deterrents such as doubt and fear that come to cause a crack in my spiritual foundation.

Heavenly Father, according to Your Word, not a single one of all the good promises You have given to the family of Israel was left unfulfilled; everything You have spoken has come true. This allows me to know and hold on to the fact that I never have a reason to doubt Your good promises. You have proven Yourself over and over again through the pages of the Word of God, Your mighty Word that You inspired through the Holy Spirit. It was written to be my daily bread. As I dive in, I am renewed with strength needed for each day.

For You are God, O Sovereign Lord. Your words are truth, and You have promised these good things to Your servant. Your instructions, O Lord, are perfect, reviving the soul. Your decrees are trustworthy, making wise the simple.

Every Word of God proves true. You are a shield to all who come to You for protection. Heaven and earth may disappear, but Your words will never disappear.

Lord, help me to not be distracted from You. Things come and go and often change with the wind, but everything about You remains the same. I choose to only listen to You. I will not allow others voices to sound louder than Your voice within the inner ear of my soul.

When false teaching tries to get me off course, I have Your trusted Word to lead and guide me. I will not get lost if I follow You.

In order to stay in line with Your will and Your plan for me, I must remember that not a single one of Your good promises to me will fail. I will allow this thought and understanding to guide the actions of my heart.

Lord, I want to be found behaving according to Your will. Your Word is precious and mighty, life-changing for all who will listen and obey. Continue to bridge the gap from my old self and the new. Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a loyal spirit within me. Do not banish me from your presence, and don’t take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and make me willing to obey you.

This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.
