Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:
Lord, thank You for Your Word. For in it I am made aware that those who accept Your commandments and obey them are the ones who love You. And because I love You, my Father will love me. And You will love me and reveal Yourself to me and to everyone who loves You.
Lord, I love You because You first loved me. You are my example of what love really is and how to reciprocate that love to others. You are so rich in kindness and grace that You purchased my freedom with the blood of Your Son and forgave my sins.
There is no greater love than this.
You have removed my sins as far from me as the east is from the west. I do not have to wallow in them. You deserve the praise and the honor for all that You have done.
When I fall into the deep end of life as I continue on this journey, if I will stop struggling and allow you to rescue me, I know that I will not drown.
Lord, I will let You be my personal lifeguard. Please come and rescue me.
When I go through deep waters, You will be with me. When I go through rivers of difficulty, I will not drown. When I walk through the fire of oppression, I will not be burned up; the flames will not consume me.
Oh, what great love You have for me.
Your love surrounds me day by day. It provides comfort and rest. As I safely float above the waters knowing that You have me in the palm of Your hand, I am rejuvenated and refreshed as Your strength washes over me.
O Lord, you are so good, so ready to forgive, so full of unfailing love for all who ask for your help. Thank You for resuscitating me and putting air back into my lungs so that I can breathe beyond my point of disappointment and see the bright future before me.
This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.

I use Your mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. I destroy every proud obstacle that keeps me from knowing You. I capture my rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. Any negative thoughts or thoughts that are not pleasing to You, O Lord, I cast them out in Jesus’ name. They have no authority over me, but I have authority through Jesus Christ. I am free. I am delivered. I am made whole. - Aim High(Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, when I am left with lingering emotions of irritation and disappointment because of how another person chose to interact with me, help me to aim high, looking to Jesus as my example when someone has offended me. Help me to recognize when the intent is not to cause these feelings to emerge within, but that a greater purpose and good is the end result.
