(Intentional Prayer)

Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

thehandoff_198035990_larger

Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is Yours, O Lord, and this is Your kingdom. I adore You as the one who is over all things. Wealth and honor come from You alone, for You rule over everything. Power and might are in Your hand, and at Your discretion people are made great and given strength. “O my God, I thank You and praise Your glorious name!

Lord, because of You, I am able to endure the challenges of life. It seems that I am often struggling with one thing or the other, but You are my constant strength. This is not how You intended for my life to be, but because of sin and its presence in the world, I must continue to walk towards You in search of everything that I need to sustain me and uplift me in this dying world. I have a way of escape and for this I am able to rejoice, in spite of when things become blurry for me.

Nothing that comes my way has to keep me burdened down when I hand it all back over to You.

You will carry the load and take the brunt of each and every attack of the enemy. When I hand my worries to You, God You will carry them across the end zone, and as a member of the team, when You win, I win.

Thank You for Victory!

I must remind myself as often as needed that I don’t have to worry about anything; instead, I am called to pray about everything. God, I can tell You what I need, and thank You for all You have done. You never tire of listening to me. It is what you expect. I can bring my concerns to You and You are faithful to resolve the issues of my heart.

God, Your will for me is to always be joyful. Never stop praying and to be thankful in all circumstances. When I form my lips to complain, God I ask that you let the words cease and that I immediately begin to think on Your goodness towards me. You may not give me all of my requests but You allow me to experience and have all that I need according to Your great plan for me.

In my weakness, I see You, my big God who can handle anything.

When I try to do things on my own or attempt to figure You out, God let me release the stress that I carry, stop the madness and hand everything over to You.

There’s nobody greater, nobody greater, nobody greater than You!

This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.

  • I Have Authority
(Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, I come to you today as a reminder to myself that I have authority through Jesus Christ. I use Your mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. I destroy every proud obstacle that keeps me from knowing You. I capture my rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. Any negative thoughts or thoughts that are not pleasing to You, O Lord, I cast them out in Jesus’ name. They have no authority over me, but I have authority through Jesus Christ. I am free. I am delivered. I am made whole. (Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, when I am left with lingering emotions of irritation and disappointment because of how another person chose to interact with me, help me to aim high, looking to Jesus as my example when someone has offended me. Help me to recognize when the intent is not to cause these feelings to emerge within, but that a greater purpose and good is the end result. 1. Amen. Such graceful words. A lot of times we don’t understand why He allows some of us go through so much drills but to a vessel He desires to make the best of: He prunes and purifies it through all the stages He allows it (us) pass through.
