(Intentional Prayer)

Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

flowing_water_286430005_larger

For You bless the godly, O Lord; You surround them with Your shield of love.

Because of Your love, anyone who believes in You may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’”

Thank you Lord for the living water that flows in my life. The source of life giving power rejuvenates the dry places and sustains me from moment to moment.

When I go through deep waters, You will be with me. When I go through rivers of difficulty, I will not drown. When I walk through the fire of oppression, I will not be burned up; the flames will not consume me.

How awesome is my God who provides this level of shelter and safety that flows and washes all over me.

See, You my God have come to save me. I will trust in You and not be afraid. Lord God, You are my strength and my song; You have given me victory. With joy I will drink deeply from the fountain of salvation!

You are my salvation in this sin sick world.

For You will pour out water to quench my thirst and to irrigate my parched fields. And You will pour out Your Spirit on my descendants, and my blessing on my children. While the rivers of living water wash me clean and makes my life brand new, I float with precision and accuracy towards the prize You have prepared, receiving this assurance as I continue in my faith.

Lord, as You pour into my life all that sustains me, in thankfulness, let the rivers of my worship flow back to You. Flow to You.

This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.

  • I Have Authority
(Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, I come to you today as a reminder to myself that I have authority through Jesus Christ. I use Your mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. I destroy every proud obstacle that keeps me from knowing You. I capture my rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. Any negative thoughts or thoughts that are not pleasing to You, O Lord, I cast them out in Jesus’ name. They have no authority over me, but I have authority through Jesus Christ. I am free. I am delivered. I am made whole. When I feel lost or confused, I will turn to Your Word and gain strength, knowledge and understanding. I will seek deliverance because it is for those who ask and want it […]
  • Gotta Ask
(Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, I thank You for another day to come to You in prayer. I come with a spirit of thanksgiving and adoration for You being God and Lord over my life. I seek to humbly come before Your presence each day. Let my prayers be effective and reach Your ear and heart of understanding and when I pray amiss, Lord, guide me into all truth and give me direction for the next steps within my life. As Jesus instructed, I will keep on asking, and I know that I will receive what I ask for […]
  • The One – Higher Than All the Heavens
(Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, because I have been called by You, I will lead a life worthy of my calling. Teach me to always be humble and gentle. Honor my steps to be patient with others, making allowance for other’s faults because of my love, this Godly love that you have demonstrated towards me. Lord, I desire to make every effort to keep myself united in the Spirit, binding myself together with peace. For there is one body and one Spirit […]
  • Aim High
(Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, when I am left with lingering emotions of irritation and disappointment because of how another person chose to interact with me, help me to aim high, looking to Jesus as my example when someone has offended me. Lord, I want to do all that I can to live in peace with everyone. Help me to recognize when the intent is not to cause these feelings to emerge within, but that a greater purpose and good is the end result. I mustn’t allow my emotions to control or dictate how I move forward in that connection. I must choose to set my feelings aside and do what is best to allow Your good plan to prevail […]
