(Intentional Prayer)

Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

Although I have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God, in spite of myself, God, You made a way. For without the shedding of blood, there is no forgiveness. You made a way for me to return to You. You sent Jesus here as a man to walk the path that I am walking, to be a living example for me to follow, and then to give up His life for mine, so that I could be Yours. Thank You for such great forethought and sacrifice to make a way on my behalf, when without it, I would be lost, forever under the influence of Satan. But now I have Victory through Jesus Christ.

It’s already settled. It’s already done.

For Your Word tells me that though my sins are like scarlet, You will make them as white as snow. Though they are red like crimson, You will make them as white as wool.

Thank You for making a way for me.

In those moments, days, weeks, months, and sometimes years of not knowing what to do, You held me by Your right hand—You, the Lord my God. And You said to me, “Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.” You have always been there, even when I felt lost. If I didn’t know then, I know for sure today that I can give all my worries and cares to You, for You care about me.

There is no doubt. There is no fear.

You Lord are my light and my salvation—so why should I be afraid? You Lord are my fortress, protecting me and those I love from danger, at all times, so why should I tremble? God You have a sovereign will for everything that has entered my life, all along, even when it was cloudy and dark. As I continue to watch the pieces unfold I am filled with joy and excitement about all that You have planned.

Nobody could have done what You have done, how You have done. Oh, what a way!

What shall I say about such wonderful things as these? If You are for me, who can ever be against me? Not a one, because God, You made a way, the only way, in my day-to-day and an eternal way to be with You.

This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.

  1. Such Grace. The blessings of the cross is amazing and love the part where you mentioned “when we did not know what to do, you have been there” (paraphrased).

I do say that God is my story of LOVE because even when I don’t believe in myself and even when I didn’t, He never stopped believing in me. Not once not ever.
