(Intentional Prayer)

Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:

Lord, Your glory is rising over the horizon, shining forth in my life. I thank You for blessings seen and unseen; for undeniable miracles transpiring right before my eyes. Change is now, for the better, because Your hand of mercy has been gathering all of the pieces for a great reveal. I see You moving. I feel Your presence in the atmosphere. Everything has been working for my good.

For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.

In my struggle with waiting, You have mercifully sustained me. You were faithful in the process and have propelled me to a place in time where I am able to begin seeing what my eyes could not see then. As You work Your providential will, I am determined to maintain my focus on Your Word and promises available to comfort and guide my every step.

Lord, I know that whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to me from You my Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. You never change or cast a shifting shadow. You move to change my surroundings, the chaos that has been prevalent in my life for far too long. Why? Because, my heavenly Father, change is now.

When the wind blows, when the waves roar, I can reflect on this day and what You have blessed me to come through to this point and know that change for my new scenario and life altering situation is imminent when I keep my faith in the God of my Salvation, in my Redeemer and Lord over all.

I dare to hope at all times and shall never forget all that You have done for me.

The faithful love that you extend to me Lord, it never ends! Your mercies never cease. Great is Your faithfulness; Your mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” Lord, I have depended on You and You have been nothing but good to me. When I felt lost and weak, I searched for you. I quietly waited for the salvation of my Lord.

God, You do not disappoint. You always come through.

Change is now and God I am so grateful because had I rejected You and turned my own way, disaster would have been the ultimate end. But for Your glory, You chose to send forth Your light of hope and see about me.

This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NLT)
1 For everything there is a season,
a time for every activity under heaven.

James 1:17 (NLT)
17 Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.

Lamentations 3:21-26 (NLT)
Yet I still dare to hope
when I remember this:
22 The faithful love of the Lord never ends!
His mercies never cease.
23 Great is his faithfulness;
his mercies begin afresh each morning.
24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance;
therefore, I will hope in him!”
25 The Lord is good to those who depend on him,
to those who search for him.
26 So it is good to wait quietly
for salvation from the Lord.

I use Your mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments. I destroy every proud obstacle that keeps me from knowing You. I capture my rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. Any negative thoughts or thoughts that are not pleasing to You, O Lord, I cast them out in Jesus’ name. They have no authority over me, but I have authority through Jesus Christ. I am free. I am delivered. I am made whole. When I feel lost or confused, I will turn to Your Word and gain strength, knowledge and understanding. I will seek deliverance because it is for those who ask and want it […]

  • Aim High
    (Intentional Prayer) Pray the Scriptures: Lord, when I am left with lingering emotions of irritation and disappointment because of how another person chose to interact with me, help me to aim high, looking to Jesus as my example when someone has offended me. Help me to recognize when the intent is not to cause these feelings to emerge within, but that a greater purpose and good is the end result.
