Pray the Scriptures – My Prayer:
Lord, by Your divine power, You have given me everything I need for living a godly life. I have received all of this by coming to know You, the one who called me to Yourself by means of Your marvelous glory and excellence. Because of Your glory and excellence, You have given me great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable me to share Your divine nature and escape the world’s corruption caused by human desires.
In view of all this, I will make every effort to respond to Your promises. I will supplement my faith with a generous provision of moral excellence, and moral excellence with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with patient endurance, and patient endurance with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love for everyone. The more I grow like this, the more productive and useful I will be in my knowledge of my Lord Jesus Christ.
Coming to know You is the best thing I’ve ever done!
God, You are so rich in mercy, and You have loved me so much, that even though I was dead because of my sins, You gave me life when You raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that I have been saved!) For You raised me from the dead along with Christ and seated me with Him in the heavenly realms because I am united with Christ Jesus. So You, O God can point to me in all future ages as an example of the incredible wealth of Your grace and kindness toward me, as shown in all You have done for me, as I am united with Christ Jesus.
Just thinking on that alone, Lord, brings me comfort and peace. I know that I can fully trust in the God of my salvation. I have no concerns about how loved I am or about Your protective hand always covering me. Coming to know You has changed how I see me.
God, You saved me by Your grace when I believed. I can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from You. Salvation is not a reward for the good things I have done, so I cannot and will not boast about it. For I am Your masterpiece. You have created me anew in Christ Jesus, so I can do the good things You have planned for me long ago.
Coming to know You has completely altered the course of my life and for this I am thankful. You have prepared a way for me, and as long as I stay close and do as You have commanded, I will find myself fully experiencing Your grace and mercy for me.
Lord, I do not want to fall short of Your glory. I do not want to do anything that is outside of Your will. I will continue to rest in Your loving arms and feel at peace in the shelter that You offer as I further come into the knowledge of who You are. Your miraculous deeds that are evident each day mean the world to me. Without You in my life, I would be nothing. Without You, I would fail. You do not have to do a thing for me, but because I chose to know You, You have made me Your child.
Heavenly Father, so great though are, thank You for loving me!
This I pray in Jesus’ Name. Not my will but Your will be done. For Your Glory! Amen.

Ephesians 2:4-10 (NLT)
4 But God is so rich in mercy, and he loved us so much, 5 that even though we were dead because of our sins, he gave us life when he raised Christ from the dead. (It is only by God’s grace that you have been saved!) 6 For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. 7 So God can point to us in all future ages as examples of the incredible wealth of his grace and kindness toward us, as shown in all he has done for us who are united with Christ Jesus.
8 God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. 9 Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. 10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.
