For our safety, God may be keeping us at bay until everything is prepared for our safe landing into our designated place of OVERWHELMING VICTORY.

MY FAITH EXPRESSIONS

Hello and Welcome to My Faith Expressions.

Today is a blessed day, no matter what may be happening all around us. God has allowed us to see a new day and we have another opportunity to trust in Him and His plan for us. This is awesome, don’t you agree!

Word of Hope for Today:

Remember that everything in God’s plan makes a difference in our life, even the places of immobility.

When God is transitioning us into a different season of life, sometimes things may feel out of sync. The days may appear to roll right into each other, and we can often feel as though we will never reach our true destiny. It’s like a plane flying in the air, circling the runway, knowing its final destination, prepared for arrival, but not yet having the go ahead to land.

We must realize, as does the pilot and passengers of this plane, that God has us in this holding pattern for our protection. He knows we feel as though we are ready to hit the ground running, but He may see a potential danger that lies ahead; therefore, for our safety, God may be keeping us at bay until everything is prepared for our safe landing into our designated place of OVERWHELMING VICTORY.

So, remember everything in God’s plan makes a difference in your life, even the places of immobility.

Proverbs 16:9 (NLT) says,
9 We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.

There have been times when I believed that I had everything figured out. I had scoped out the land and felt like I had covered every possible angle. The problem there was, often, I was doing just that, going by my feelings and failing to seek God for His visible sign of release in order for me to proceed in His predestined plan for me. What I needed to do was position myself to hear from God.

Every step that we make, makes a difference on our journey with God.

Just because we may seemingly be at a standstill does not mean that God is not taking us somewhere great. We just have to be patient and wait for God to release us from the holding pattern, in His timing. If we try to land before time, there could be a devastating, life-altering, catastrophic happening that cannot be reversed. God can bring us out of anything He chooses to, but why take this unnecessary detour or risk in life if we can avoid it by staying put until God releases us.

We must stay in alignment with His will and not proceed because we think we know better than He does.

How do we do this? First thing is to not act impulsively. When something enters our mind or spirit to do, even if we believe that it is of and from God, we must stop and pray and ask God to lead and guide us. When we read His Word and set aside time to commune with Him, He will speak to us and confirm what He has told us to do. He may also choose to send someone into our lives who will confirm what God has already instructed us to accomplish in His will for His glory. We may be shaking in our boots a bit as we move forward, but we will have peace in knowing that He is with us. He will never set us up to fail.

So, while you and I may be circling the runway, if we use that time to draw closer to God, we will know when it’s time to make that descent into the next chapter of our lives that God has prepared for us. Let’s not get ahead of His plan but seek to stay on the narrow path that leads to Him.

Great things are awaiting you and I. I confess it. I believe it. I embrace it. I receive it. Great miracles!

I pray that you find comfort and strength by sticking around a bit and taking a look at any posts that you may have missed this past week. If time allows, please feel free to catch up.

Be Blessed!
